I finally decided to blog after neglecting here for quite some time...
Of course, because there is something different than usual to blog about! 8D

Last Sunday I went to Mantanani Island at Kota Belud with my mum because we got free snorkeling package vouchers from my sis....

It's the 1st time I heard about Mantanani Island and if you search for that word in Google, you'll see lots of Dugong pictures but unfortunately no, there aren't any dugongs... I don't know why so don't ask me lol

1 hour to reach Kota Belud and another 45 minutes trip using a speedboat to the island... Seriously made me feel dizzy... @.@'''

KAMEN RIDER FEVER

Few years ago I was like, "I don't watch those stuff"
But I can't believe right now I am totally crazy about it.
ZOMG!

It all started when they're making a Kamen Rider gathering last year at Kirameki Cafe...
So I was like, since it's gonna be held at the cafe, I should at least watch some and understand at least a bit of the series so that I won't be totally blur about it when the fans gather. It is a part of a maid's responsibility too.

The 1st one I watched was Kamen Rider Kabuto.

It was 'meh' for me at 1st, but in the end I got quite hooked up and liked it.
Even after the gathering was over, I continued asking for one series after another.

My 2nd one was Kiva.

And then Kamen Rider W (Double).

After that was Den-O. My favourite series of all!! ;_;

Now watching Decade. And of course, including the ongoing one, Kamen Rider OOO.

Yeah I know, I didn't watch the series accordingly (lol)

People might say "OMG you actually watch Kamen Rider?? The show for kids??"
YES. I watch Kamen Rider and I LOVE IT.
YES it is for kids but it's also good for adults, and for me as a girl *coughlovetheBLelementscough* I really love the actors and characters <3

Well, I respect on whatever things you guys interested in, so please respect whatever things I am interested in.

To be honest : What I love at Kirameki

Been working at Kirameki Cafe for months now..
How was it? How am I doing? How's the cafe doing?

It's a dream job for a lot of people they say,
being able to cosplay, play and have fun while get paid at the same time...
Well, so I'm gonna be honest about how I feel about this job and this cafe now...

I'll be honest, I love my job even though my pay is low. I love this shop even if it's small, simple and plain. I love this shop even if it's not like those food court that is full of people all the time. I love it being a relaxing cafe for people to relax.... I love it being a place for people of same interest to gather...

I love how people appreciate the cafe.
I love to see the happy faces of people who came to the cafe.

I love how they react to the drawings on Moe Moe Omurice,
doesn't matter whether they know about the Japanese Maid Cafe culture or not...
I love to hear special requests on the messages or drawings that people ask me to draw, even though sometimes they ask the impossible... Haha.

I love it when they say "Tadaima" when they came in,
and say "Ittekimasu" or even just "Jaa ne" when they left the cafe...

I love how Kirameki is really a home for me,
since I actually spend more time at the cafe than at home.

At the cafe...
I love to see people watching anime on their laptop, playing NDS or PSP especially in a group, people bring their figures, playing with their Figma, Revoltech and Nendoroids... Playing boardgames, reading comics, drawing, studying...

I love to see people making their own gatherings at the cafe.
I love making food and drinks by myself and serve the customers.
And it really makes me happy when people love my food and drinks, especially if it's my creation of course... :)

I'm always happy to see regular customers...

I'm happy that even if it's not all, there are people who acknowledge this Maid Cafe...

This is my passion.
And I'm not going to give up no matter what.
It's true there are times that I will feel down,
but I know it's never gonna be forever.

I will continue doing my best, for this passion of mine...
I will continue doing everything I can to keep on doing what I love...

Hope my Japanese will improve... ><
There has been so many ups & downs regarding the cafe and I know it's not over yet...
It won't be over as long as we are alive~
But everything that has happened definitely make me learned more and more stuffs~!

But the most important thing is, I must not stray away from my path to my dream~!
Sometimes we might forget the important things and stray away from the path to our dreams... But as long as we keep in mind about our passion and dream... Everything's gonna be just fine... ^-^

When I was feeling down because of something..
Words that reminded me of my dreams and passion revived me~!

Not to forget that I was able to talk abit (Well... It wasn't really a chat on phone...) with the current top maid of @home Cafe...
While my friends were crazy about Hiyo-chan, the thing that made me happy is the fact that she is from @home~! The no.1 maid cafe that I want to visit when I get the chance to go to Japan.... The reason I fell in love with the maid cafe culture...
It was because of everything about @home cafe...!
From their service and performances...
And of course... Hitomi-chan.... She really is my idol (*^-^*)

Hello. Sorry for not updating my blog until now.
I've been super busy these times,
since Kirameki Cafe had officially open for business.
I'm working 12 hours per day, as a full-time maid/waitress.
Yay!

Yep... Finally my dream came true.
To open + work in a maid cafe at my hometown...
How awesome can that be?
Lol

Haven't got the time to do lots of stuffs..
I've been wanting to change my blog layout but I don't have the time...
Seriously... Even on my offdays... I still use my offdays to do cafe-related stuffs... Well this is how it is when you are not just working as an employee...

When the cafe has internet.. I'll try to update my blog more often... :)

UMS Japanese Cultural Night is finally over,
my stress level went down as I don't need to worry about Kirameki Cafe's booth & performances anymore,

Just finished watching Working!! and also caught up with Kaicho wa Maid-sama! These are very good reference for the opening soon cafe, really. :3

TGIF!
For those of you don't know what TGIF means, it's Thank God It's Friday!
I mean, come on, it's Friday! Who doesn't love Friday? =D

Actually I was suppose to go out early today, like around noon.
But mum cooked lunch so I have to eat 1st.
Suddenly heavy rain, so I have to wait for a while before going out.

My plan was actually to go JDF (Japanese Dream Food) at Palm Square, Centre Point.
Yes, my initial plan was to have an Octopus Feast today, and yes, it is because of Paul the Octopus.

I'm actually not a football fan. But I support Germany.
Why? Because of Doitsu.
What's Doitsu? It's Germany in Japanese.
Why say it in Japanese? Cos I'm a Weaboo? Just Kidding.

I love Doitsu because of Axis Powers Hetalia.

He. Is. My. Husband.

Ok, just kidding.

He's my favorite character.
His eyes are so mesmerizing.

I didn't get to eat at JDF because I was late. It closes at 2.30pm on weekdays. (opens back at 6pm)
Oh well, but I feel great after playing 3 (or was it 4?) rounds of Para-para and the basketball game. I was too tired when I play the basketball machine, so didn't reach my 300+ target. But that's okay. Lol.

Oh yeah, the Takoyaki Combo which costs RM4.20 comes with a drink, which is the Peppermint Green Tea.

It taste kinda weird at 1st, but eventually I find it quite nice to drink. It's definitely refreshing if you're feeling thirsty or ate some hot stuffs and need something to cool down your throat.

It is, however, not advisable to drink it when you can still taste the wasabi in your mouth/nose/brain. The Peppermint joins the Wasabi in torturing your brain.

Stroll around at Wisma and ended up buying something new to wear. Yay! I really lack of casual clothes, I spent too much on cosplay costumes. ( ._.)

Next, Suria Sabah.
The real reason I went there is to buy movie tickets.

Btw, I'm not rich. My sis spend me so yeah.

After that, I decided to play some games in Suria's arcade.

Yeah I'm excited cos I cosplayed as KOF XII version of Athena Asamiya.
Suria's Arcade is the only arcade that has KOF XII as far as I know. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

... I dunno, maybe it's just me(I suck at fighting games), but I think it sucked.
No wonder it's been voted as the most disappointing game in 2009... =X

But they're coming out with KOF XIII, hopefully it will be better?

Then I decided to play their basketball machine.
I think it's the same machine with the one at Fun Square CP, but this costs me RM2 instead of RM1.

IT'S F*CKING HEAVY

This is the heaviest ball I ever lifted in all the arcades in KK.
My hand was shaking after I finished playing.

244. Not bad, even though my target was RM250+(Must achieve 250 points to get to the final stage). It's really heavy and I'm not yet used to it. Next time, I'll put my high score in that machine. >D
2 guys played after that. Since the ball is quite heavy for me, I'm pretty sure guys can score better than me, men are undeniably stronger than women.

Well, that's what I thought anyway.

It seems that my score is still higher than the 2 guys. They didn't reach 200 points at all. Heheh. Forgot to say I'm good at playing this. But I suck at real basketball though.

Anyone wanna challenge me? ^_^

Went to 1B with my mum on Monday.
Just went there to find something to eat.
Though we usually just eat at Apple Cafe. Cheap food. LOL

Hey KK people,
have you been to Papparich @ Citymall yet?
No matter how's the review from other people, you still have to go there and see it for yourself right? ;D

Before this, I've been reading lots of good and bad reviews from my friends and some other people. Especially about how terrible the services are. Well lucky for me, the night I went there, the service wasn't bad after all! In fact, it was quite good. XD

Now for the food, I ordered meself Dry Curry Noodle with Curry Chicken and Iced Milk Tea, which costs me RM9.90 and RM4.20 respectively.

Do you think it's expensive?
Here's the food and drinks:

It is quite expensive for me, as the taste and portion of the noodle is just so-so.
The tea is quite delicious, as it is quite 'kaw', I like it.

Overall, Papparich is not a bad place for yumcha, or just a place for you yourself to hangout and find inspiration. I was sitting there alone that night while waiting for another friend to arrive. I don't know about right now or next time, but I love their song selection that night:

Cos I need to meet my friend in the afternoon, and then had a movie outing at 11.45pm @_@

Last month I actually joke with Rina, asking 'Hey why don't you cosplay as Woody' ... Then she said why should her? And said that she rather cosplay as Jessie rather than Woody.... And then.... Yeah... It started there... Then she suddenly got the spirit to go and make her costume... =o=;; heheh what have I done =P

P/S: I actually did thought of cosplaying as Barbie... But... Here's 2 reasons why I did not cosplay as her:
1 - No money
2 - OMG how can I wear Barbie's costume... You guys DO know what she's wearing in the movie right.... =o=;;;

Kuching, before and after

1 week before my trip to Kuching, Sarawak, I had a terrible fever.
1 week. For 1 week!!
It's the 1st time I ever had such horrible sickness in my whole 22 years.
It wasn't fun. I went to the clinic few times to check my blood.
And the day before my trip to Kuching? This:

I was really unhealthy that time, I guess my body really lack of nutrition and stuffs.

Luckily I had no more fever during my trip to Kuching, except I had rashes on my body.

Evangelion 2.0 Movie Screening Success~!

Thanks to all anime fans in Sabah!!
If it's not because of you guys... This movie screening will never success!! >_<

To tell you the truth... Before this... I never actually watched Eva anime series...
Though I know about the characters and the popularity of it... I never knew anything about the story...

It started when I saw a group named ""I'm Sabahan and I want to see Evangelion 2.0 movie in Cathay KK"" was created in Facebook... Even though I wasn't an Eva fan, I 100% support it cos I want more Anime movies to be shown in Sabah!! I didn't help much in the group, just keep on promoting and promoting to gather fans all over Sabah (And some outside of Sabah lol) so that this event will success...

I'm so glad it did! It was fun... The fact that otakus (okay maybe not everyone are otakus) gather in 1 cinema.... I wasn't shy to scream during a certain *coughBLcough* scene... XD

Before this movie, me and my friends watched the 1st Eva movie 1st of course XD

After this 2nd movie... I can't believe that... I... I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!

And so... I recently got my 1st ever card game, and it's limited edition some more!! XD

It was fate I tell you, as I seldom see any updates on Carcasean@Facebook...

One day it just popped out like that~! Carcasean asking if anyone is interested to order an 'anime maid' card game. I @________@ when I 1st saw that. As some of you might have known, me and another 2 partners are opening a maid cafe soon. It's fate~! Destiny~! Argh!!! I told myself: "I must have this thing!!"

So why did I ordered the limited edition one? Why didn't I just get the normal one? Since it's RM100 cheaper?? What is the difference??

Well, this is the reason why:

Have you heard of the new cafe in KK yet?
It's called TOYZ INC. (Toys. Cafe. Shisha.)
It has some cool collections of toys on display.
Despite it being an open-air cafe, it has very nice atmosphere ^^
It's a nice place to just relax and chill =)

How I wish I know how to play piano, or violin.. or even guitar.

Though I did wore my other costume last Saturday too. It is a request and also for teh lulz.

I highly recommend their specialty pies, Apple Pie, Chicken Pie, and Beef Pie. Which is RM2, RM2.3 ans RM2.5 respectively. Also not to forget their big and delicious Baked Curry Puff which costs RM1.8 each.
There might be other new flavors so don't forget to check the place often yeah?
The shop is very easy to find, it's located just beside Animage Toys Studio(ATS) at Asia City Complex. G67A, Ground Floor - If you don't know where ATS is. ^^;;

A new Japan product had just released. It's a book.

Fujoshi Manual Book.

"Series of so-called “manuals” have been a recent fad in Japan, such as the Instruction Manual for People with Type O Blood and the Instruction Manual for Women, which contain checklists of traits according to the subject covered.

The new Fujoshi Manual is for readers to know all about the behavior and basic thinking of “fujoshi,” which is Internet slang for women who like novels or comics that deal with homoerotic love, and literally means “rotten girl” in Japanese.

The book contains a checklist of “fujoshi traits” with items such as, “When someone asks me what my type is, I answer with a two-dimensional character,” which you then tally up to determine your “fujoshi score.”"

I'm actually quite interested in this book. I tell myself that I used to be a fujoshi, but no longer is now. But I am curious to know the Japanese's definition and details of a 'Fujoshi'.

23/01/09 (Friday)

8.30pm: Was supposed to go and watch the 1st heat of D Junction Miss Oriental beauty pageant, but when I reached there then I know an entrance fee of RM25 is needed to go in there. So me and my mum canceled our plan to watch the competition.

9.00pm: Friend called. Was too late already when my friend told me he can let me go in for free cos I was already on my way home.

Sorry for not be able to attend the event friends ^^;
Wasn't able to make it this time, hopefully I can go for the next event in the future.

No info about entrance fee needed, and my friends too didn't know anything about that.
Can't blame them for be able to get in there for free ^^;

~~(A little disappointed cos me and mum already dress and make up pretty-pretty XD;;)~~

At least I've learned a lesson today(tonight):

Love these photos. Although my friend actually shot more than this... ^^;;
The photos are taken at SIA's studio. They turned off the lights and only left the lights for the camera (I don't know what's it called if there's a name for that thing) and my eyes really hurt that time... >.<;; ^^;;

Nevertheless it's worth it I say, this is by far the greatest and most satisfying photoshoot I have done so far =) (Not to mention the most tiring one XD;;)

Oh and also an extra note, the photos are not taken using a DSLR ^^
Just wanna say that having a DSLR doesn't make you a great photographer... =P

The concept of the school(Gakuen=School) is "relaxing the muscles of the whole body as well as relaxing customers mentally by entertaining." I'm sure a lot of guys likes this, it's normal in Japan. There were no vacancies from the 1st day they opened.

Prices are: Trial Course = 2,200yen for 20 minutes, New Teacher Course = 3,200yen for 30 minutes & etc. Besides the normal massage courses, there are also some other options like "sleeping on a girl's lap," "taking a photo (1,000yen), changing socks (From black knee-socks to either loose socks or white knee socks)(1,000yen) & etc.

While getting massage, you can communicate with fumikko-san and talk about whatever you want since it's only you and fumikko-san in the room.

Recent comments on their bulletin board are quite interesting, e.g "want a girl to step on without taking indoor shoes off," "want a girl to step on my face or head too," etc…

I celebrated my sister Rina's birthday together with CSPians at New York New York (1 Borneo) last Sunday =)

We bought her a Wall-E plushie for her, but I decided to give her Eve too (Wall-E is not perfect without Eve ;) ) Me and Nora shared the cost for the Eve plushie btw, I'm not that rich to buy that plushie for her alone =P

Fun Busy Week

Last week was busy.. but fun :3

Had a HobbyCon'08 meeting last Saturday, then Toyboy called and invited me, cubex and Massy to his house later at night. Saw Toyboy and Bakaneko at KAC, shopping for clothes at G2000 XD Got discounts that time, and cubex also bought a new pants and shirt for Toyboy's wedding the next day =)

I bought a new dress on Sunday 5pm. Just 1 and a half hours before Toyboy's wedding dinner started XD

We had a loli outing last Saturday, had lunch at Fish & Co. at Warisan Square before going to take some photos at Centre Point.

This tool is so awesome! You can get it here and there are also tutorials on how to operate this thing ^_^

I did this in my office just minutes ago, the computer here is um.. a bit 'cacat' and I was scared to play around with MMD cos I haven't finished my work until I forgot to make it to last at least few seconds longer... =.=;;

But no worries.. I will try again and make better videos with this!! =D

I was doing some last minute shopping yesterday, trying to find a nice and suitable dress for the event. But while I was browsing through... I saw this stripe hoodie... with rabbit ears!! I wanted this shirt for so long already!!! I bought it without having 2nd thought.

And after I bought that, I was so happy I don't have any mood to find any other things anymore. So I ended up wearing that to the event instead.

I'm sorry~~~~~~ I am a liiiiiitle bit regret for not wearing my loli dress but that's ok... A lot people likes my bunny ear hoodie!! Hehe XD
